Tsubame or Sonam is a recurring character in Ninja Hattori comic and animated adaption. She has a crush on the protagonist, Kanzo Hattori.
Physical appearance[]
Sonam has a round face, rosy cheeks and black hair done in a ponytail. She wears pink robes and has purple gloves - she also has a flower in her hair.
Personality and traits[]
The resident tart-with-a-heart, Sonam's gobby, bossy, meticulous, headstrong and edgy. She can lose her temper over nothing frequently, and is always in favour of Hattori. She also doesn't provide Shinzo, Shishimaru or Kenichi with their necessities as much as she provides Hattori with them. But generally, she means well.She is friendly,caring and helpful.She is a good friend of Shinzo,Shishimaru and Kenichi.She helps Kenichi's mother in household chores.

Kanzo Hattori[]
has a serious crush on Hattori. She is infatuated with Hattori and will do anything to get him on her side. Hattori loves her too but keeps it as a secret as shown in season 1 episode 238.
Hattori introduces Sonam to the gang
Shinzo Hattori, Shishimaru, Kenichi Mitsuba, Kagechiyo and Amara[]
Initially, Kenichi, Shinzo and Shishimaru did not like Sonam, and did not miss an opportunity to get one over her, but they later became good friends. Sonam also doesn't like Amara and his cat Kiyo. However, they did work together to try and beat Hattori.
History[]
In her first appearance, she came to the Mitsuba family house and cleaned it up, but when Kenichi returned home from a match, Sonam, thinking that he was a burglar, bound and gagged him with a rope and sellotape. Shinzo and Shishimaru found Kenichi, freed him and tried to fight Sonam off, but ended up being attacked. Luckily, Hattori turned up and Sonam softened. Hattori proceeded to introduce Sonam to Kenichi, Shinzo and Shishimaru, and she caused them trouble with her meticulous, prissy ways until they chased her off to Iga town.
